Inscribed Roman stone

This 3rd century Roman milestone or markstone is in the northwest corner of the church. It bears a Latin inscription: IMP C DO NO MARC CASSI. This is probably a dedication to Emperor Marcus Cassianus Latinius Postumus who died in AD 268.
